History and Background
Founded in 1987 by Laura Zohar LeRoy in New York City, Zohar Entertainment, Inc. began as a boutique event-planning company and expanded to full-service operations as Zohar Productions, Inc. in 2000. By 2005, the company had expanded nationwide, with a second office in Scottsdale, Arizona, and had earned its signature reputation as "The Genie of Special Events" through award-winning Arabian-themed celebrations.
For over three decades, Laura built a national following through her passion for Middle Eastern culture, creating extraordinary Arabian Nights and Moroccan-themed events for corporate gatherings, social celebrations, and fundraising galas. Her innovative approach to immersive themed events set new industry standards, earning recognition, including "Best Entertainment in Arizona" and "Best Social Event Over $50K."
In 2020, Zohar Productions underwent a meaningful transformation. After registering as a government contractor with SAM.gov and achieving Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) certification, Laura discovered her true calling: serving those who serve our country. This pivot from luxury entertainment to military support became more than a business decision—it became a mission.
Today, we exclusively provide chaplain-led retreats, international leadership forums, and specialized military programming. The same exceptional attention to detail that once created magic for celebrity clients is now dedicated to supporting service members, their families, and diplomatic initiatives that strengthen our nation's relationships.
