First, you need to fill out the Planning Your Event Form and submit it. This will let us know what your date, location and time is, as well as, the services you wish to engage. Let us know if you want Zohar Productions to plan all the details of the event or only part of it. We need to determine if you intend to plan the event yourself and are only looking for a Professional Consultation with us or if you want Zohar to handle all the event planning details.
The sweet spot is between 2 to 6 months before an event, although many weddings start earlier than that. Please note that if less than 6 to 8 weeks' notice is given, we may only be able to help in a limited manner.
We start with a site inspection, a timeline for the event from deliveries and set-up to tear down and returns, a "Look Book", an estimate of costs, and indoor/outdoor layouts to scale with architectural features, décor rentals, and entertainment placement. Once approved, we secure all the vendors and entertainers, permits and COI's needed for your event. We coordinate all the linens, tabletop décor including buffet tables and cake table, flowers, lighting, food & beverages, costuming, etc. We make arrangements for deliveries and set-up, arrange the load-in/load-out schedule; we provide a designer/event manager to oversee the installation; we provide an event planner to oversee the flow of the event; we provide talent wranglers to get the entertainers in costume and keep the entertainment on schedule. Safety is always paramount. We cover risk management and make contingency plans. We stick to the schedule but can be flexible when need be.

If you want to throw an elaborate event and would like it professionally planned, you can retain our services and we will provide a proposal with includes a look book, timeline, layout and estimate of all costs. Many hours of work go into sourcing and pricing the vendors and entertainers for your custom event. The Retainer Fee is $1000.00 which will be credited to your account when you approve the proposal. Your date and all services are then secured with a 50% deposit.
Yes, Zohar Productions, Inc. offers a variety of Professional Consultation Packages including DIY (Do It Yourself), DWY (Do It With You), and DFY (Do It For You.) Chose the package that best suits your needs! For a budget under $1000.00 we suggest two DIY options: 1) A half hour DIY Consultation with premium checklists and printables included $50.00. 2) A professional DIY consultation with premium checklists and printables and up to 2.5 hours of time scheduled at your convenience covering additional event/wedding planning services for $250.00. For those customers who are hands-on and plan to provide the food and beverages, and do much of the decorating themselves, but want us to professionally plan your event with you, signup for our DWY (Do It With You) Package which also includes timelines, layouts, a look book, etc. for $560.00. We will plan the event with you and take care of all the details so there is minimal stress on you and the unlikelihood possibility of an unexpected problem for you to contend with during your event.
